Summer 1

This half term our topic is ‘Come Outside’. Reception class will explore the wonders of the natural world all around them. Through hands-on activities and outdoor learning, they will discover different plants and flowers, observe fascinating minibeasts, and learn about new life and life cycles. From watching seeds grow into plants to understanding how caterpillars transform, children will begin to see how living things change and grow. They will also learn simple ways to care for our planet, such as looking after plants, respecting wildlife, and keeping our environment clean. This topic encourages curiosity, exploration, and a love of nature.

Week 1
